Your conversations with Kai, your name, your location and timezone, and the ritual times you choose. This is needed to deliver the service: to remember what you shared, to show up at the right time, and to meet you where you are.

Your conversations are encrypted at rest. Even if someone accessed the database directly, they would not be able to read what you shared.

Voice messages are transcribed on the fly and Kai discards the audio immediately after transcription. Kai keeps the text of what you said (encrypted, like all conversations) but never stores your voice recordings. Photos or other media you send are not stored.

Kai also keeps a small working memory of things that matter across conversations, such as the direction you have chosen, a practice you accepted, or a recurring pattern you asked Kai to help you recognize. A passing disclosure should not become a lasting description of you simply because it was personal or vivid.

You can ask Kai what it remembers about you in ordinary language. Kai will summarize the relevant working memory available in that conversation and invite you to correct it. That summary may not be a complete account of everything stored.

For a complete copy of your data, send /export_my_data in your private Telegram chat with Kai. If something Kai says is wrong, correct it plainly; your current correction should replace the conflicting earlier understanding.

Kai uses specialist AI services to generate replies, transcribe voice notes and, when enabled, create spoken replies. That means the relevant content is sent securely to those providers.

I only use commercial API services that do not train their general models on it. Some providers may retain it temporarily for security, abuse prevention or legal requirements. Providers may change as the technology improves; you can ask me at any time which ones Kai currently uses.

Kai does not sell your data. Kai does not use your conversations for advertising. Kai does not build profiles to target you. Your inner world is not a product.

Conversations may be reviewed in anonymized form by AI to improve how Kai works. No human will browse your sessions. If this ever changes, you will be told first.

Operational review artifacts are kept as narrow as the job allows. Kai prefers bounded evidence, redaction and hashes over portable copies of full prompts or sensitive user state.

You can delete all your data from your private Telegram chat. Send /delete_my_data, then /delete_my_data confirm.

Kai cannot yet selectively delete one remembered detail while keeping everything else. It will not claim that a specific memory was erased when it was not. This limitation will be removed only through a confirmed, user-scoped deletion path.
